Community Engagement

An uncomfortable truth

One day early in our church story, we found a man sleeping rough under the floor of the hall we hired on Sunday. We realised in this moment that what happens inside the church is of limited value if there isn’t a tangible impact on those beyond the walls (or under the floor).

A church without walls

As a start-up organisation, we knew we couldn’t do everything, but we committed to do something. We listened and learnt from others, began to understand the value of partnership, and made the decision to jump in.
